Now initially you might think you don't need or even want to know about
butyrate (ˈbjuːtɪˌreɪt) noun,
any salt or ester of butyric acid, containing the monovalent group C3H7COO- or ion C3H7COO–, and when you then bumped into this, having first found out it is in butter, you might well panic:

But then you would realize that lately it has had a great rise in reputation and helps maintain your biodome and aids in the production of key neurotransmitters that help both our gut and our brains to work. thank you Xty. i had posted New Years sentiment on the last thread, but it has disappeared. that’s OK.

a perspective is that as power (money in western society) becomes more and more concentrated, the absolute number of these powerful psychopaths declines. the process always runs to completion/collapse. these egos can never have enough, can never share. history repeats. but the next cycle will begin at a more advanced level. there is repetition but with progression. that’s right, the root word being PROGRESS!
today’s word, viscid, describes the potato dumplings i made really well. in fact we describe winter comfort food around here as “sticking to the ribs”. i hope i made enough to get through the next winter storm, which appears to be barreling down on me right now. hey, i’m willing to trade you for some of your oatmeal cookies EO.
have some fun tonight guys. as to 2013, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Lighthousers!
Just wrapping up what we realized was our 14th in-a-row New Years Eve party here at the Original Haus, featuring my world famous potstickers. I neglected to take a picture, but mine look a lot like these:
I’ve grown very fond of this version of the tune.
Yes, tip a glass to the past, but another for the future as well. It’s all we’ve got!
